SolidWorks Designer Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support product platforms and project engineering by creating and revising electro-mechanical designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed drawings and process engineering change orders.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of drawing deliverables.
• Collaborate across functions to develop practical design solutions.
• Suggest manufacturing and assembly methods.
• Review test reports and interpret regulatory codes.
• Perform on-site inspections.
• Support quoting activities.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues.
• Guide junior team members (non-supervisory role).

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, or Engineering Technology (or equivalent).
• 3–7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, dimensioning, tolerancing (GD&T), and inspection practices.
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical system design (preferred).
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of solving engineering challenges.
