Mechanical Designer (Revit)

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Designer with proficiency in Revit to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mechanical systems design (HVAC) and will be responsible for creating detailed designs for mechanical equipment and systems for a variety of projects. Responsibilities

• Designing and drafting detailed mechanical systems for various construction projects using Revit.
• Collaborating with the project team to develop innovative and efficient design solutions.
• Reviewing and analyzing project specifications, and ensuring designs meet all necessary requirements.
• Conducting detailed calculations to establish installation standards and specifications.
• Inspecting installations and observing operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications, and safety standards.
• Working closely with other designers, drafters, and engineers to ensure coordinated design systems.
• Providing technical advice to project staff when needed.
• Continually updating knowledge and staying current with new technology and equipment.
• Ensuring that all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Participating in project meetings and providing updates on progress and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience HVAC/mechanical systems design.
• Proficiency in Revit is a must. Knowledge of other CAD software will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and construction methods.
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
