Job Summary
Essential Responsibilities/Activities
- Uses computer design software (CAD) to develop models and drawings.
- Generates conceptual and preliminary drawings to be used for development of product.
- Tasks with updates and revisions to existing designs, as well as assists with new product design.
- Helps troubleshoot issues on the line.
- Keeps up with the processing of orders in house (SPAS).
- Handles multiple tasks simultaneously under guidance of other design engineers.
- Competent in independent work.
- Confers with engineering management to complete assigned projects.
- Collaborates with engineers, management, and other creative departments to determine design solutions.
- Provides complete bill of material by defining when, where, and why parts are used.

Essential Physical Functions
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
- Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Two-year technical degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
