Responsibilities

• Aid Mechanical Engineers and/or Mechanical Design Teams in designing, implementing, and drafting construction documents for clients' building programs, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Independently address minor challenges on projects with support from the Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Design Team Lead.
• Apply knowledge from national standards (e.g., IMC, IPC, ASHRAE) and experience into construction documents under supervision.
• Utilize AutoCAD and/or REVIT, and learn software tools like Trane Trace, to support the design process.
• Collaborate with Architects and other Engineers to develop construction documents based on client requirements.
• Perform quality control checks on your own work before submitting it to the Mechanical Engineer for final review.
• Communicate directly with clients as needed, depending on the client's needs and team dynamics.

Qualifications

• No management requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• No licensure requirements
