Mechanical Designer - Entry Level

About the Role

Benchmark Group is seeking a motivated Mechanical Designer to join our Project Team of Choice. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with strong attention to detail, a dependable team player, and a commitment to excellence. This role involves producing full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects using mechanical design concepts.

You will collaborate with licensed professionals on a variety of design tasks, with a focus on Revit and/or AutoCAD. Minimal travel may be required. Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop construction documents for commercial building projects using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with licensed professionals in a team environment to perform mechanical design tasks.
• Apply mechanical design concepts to produce complete sets of construction documents.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical work experience, mechanical college or technical coursework, or a combination of both.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• 1 year of applicable work experience with demonstrated skill in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of Revit for entry-level positions; strong understanding required for experienced roles.
