Mechanical Design Engineer - Defense

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to create and publish model-based product definitions in Quincy, MA. Hands-on experience with MBD design in SolidWorks and publishing 3DI PDFs using the SolidWorks MBD Publishing Tool is required. Experience releasing designs through Windchill is a strong plus but not required. You will work directly with the engineering team to deliver release-ready 3D documentation packages on a fast-moving schedule. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply specialized MBD skills on mission-critical defense hardware in a digital-engineering-forward environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical design experience using model-based definition (MBD) in SolidWorks
• Hands-on experience publishing 3DI PDFs using the SolidWorks MBD Publishing Tool
• Strong working knowledge of GD&T and 3D annotation / PMI on models
• Experience releasing designs through Windchill (preferred, not required)
• Ability to ramp quickly and deliver release-quality documentation on a short timeline
