Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Transform ideas into robust mechanical designs. Develop innovative products using Aluminum/Investment casting, Metal (Carbon Steel) forging and sheet metal technologies. Collaborate with global stakeholders to bring concepts into successful series production.

Tasks

• Conceptualize, design and validate mechanical components and assemblies
• Drive product development from concept to series production
• Perform FEM analysis and mechanical simulation
• Collaborate with global R&D, SCM, Quality and Manufacturing teams
• Manage CAD models, drawings and engineering documentation
• Product Validation & Analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8-10 years' experience in mechanical design and product development
• Expertise in casting, forging and sheet metal design
• Knowledge of Creo, Ansys, SAP ECTR and PLM systems
• Demonstrated abilities of performing Mechanical Integrity Analysis and come up with feasibility analysis
• Solid knowledge of Geometrical Product Specifications (ISO GPS)
• Proficiency in 3D CAD Design
• Experience in Mechanical Simulation and FEM Analysis
• Experience with Product Development, Manufacturing Technologies, and Project based work environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills
