Mechanical Construction Project Manager - Bay Area

About the role

This opportunity offers the chance to lead complex projects, work closely with executive leadership, and be involved from preconstruction through commissioning. The position involves managing multiple mechanical construction projects across various sectors including healthcare, life sciences, advanced technology, commercial, and mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Buyout and procurement
• RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Client and owner relationship management
• OAC meetings and project reporting
• Coordination with field operations, fabrication, VDC/BIM, and estimating teams
• Supporting projects from preconstruction through closeout and commissioning

Requirements

• 4+ years of Project Management experience with a mechanical contractor
• Experience managing HVAC and plumbing scopes
• Design-Build and Design-Assist project experience preferred
• Strong financial and client management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project/P6, and related construction software

Qualifications

• Preferred Experience: Healthcare, Life Sciences, Advanced Technology, Data Centers, Central Plant Projects

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of industry-standard construction software
