Mechanical Completion / Walkdown Manager

About the role

The Mechanical Completion / Walkdown Manager supports the closeout phase of two utility-scale wind projects. The positions are contracted roles supporting the final construction and turnover phases of large utility-scale wind projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical completion walkdowns across wind turbine systems and related infrastructure
• Identify, document, and track punch list items and deficiencies
• Cookordinate with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to drive issue resolution
• Verify work is completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards
• Support turnover documentation and system handover processes
• Maintain accurate reporting and status updates throughout project completion activities

Qualifications

• Experience on utility-scale wind projects required
• Previous experience with mechanical completion, commissioning, QA/QC, or construction turnover activities
• Familiarity with Vestas turbine platforms preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and turnover documentation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced field environment
