Responsibilities
- Perform system mechanical design and create fabrication drawings
- Create 3D models using AutoCAD Inventor
- Review CAD drawings prepared by other team members
- Study P&ID, specifications and drawings and ensure that all requirements are taken care of in 3D model
- Generate facility layout drawings
- Generate manufacturing drawings and details
Requirements
- Proficient with AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D and Inventor/Vault
- Experience with machine/fabrication/welding shop techniques and methods
- Must have a good understanding of drafting standards, geometric tolerances and weld symbols
- Pipe sizing calculations
Qualifications
- Piping Design: 3 years
- Autodesk Inventor: 3 years
