Mechanical Cable Shop Technician - Skiatook

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test Inbound and Outbound jobs orders
• Cut, strip, crimp, solder, label, and finish cable assemblies using approved tools and procedures
• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, high-potential, resistance, or other required tests
• Handle, move, and store cable reels, connectors, and components to prevent damage
• Operate forklift
• Load/unload reels of cable and components as needed
• Move the reels of cable in the yard to desired location
• Maintain stock and inventory levels
• Cycle count inventory as needed
• Receive inbound as needed
• Identify and request inventory
• Maintain clean and organized work and shop area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous forklift operation experience is preferred but not required
• Previous experience in the industry is preferred but not required
