What You'll Do
- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Position and align components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
- Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
- Conduct quality control checks; test and inspect components for uniformity and quality.
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verify specifications by measuring complete components.
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying supervisors to obtain additional resources.
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms; log productivity.
What You’ll Bring
- A high school diploma/GED, required.
- Three to five (3-5) years of manufacturing or assembly line experience, required.
- Mechanical and technical skills; experience with modular support systems for pipes, ventilation, sprinkler, electrical and seismic applications, preferred.
- Focus on quality control and attention to detail.
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate and assemble parts and components that are often small.
- Creativity and energy; ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
