Mechanical Assembler

About the role

WB Industries is looking for an Assembler in O'Fallon, MO who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and hands‑on work. The role involves working on exciting projects ranging from large aerospace platforms to small, detailed mechanical assemblies, with opportunities for growth, training, and development on a day‑shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large and small mechanical components and structures
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and accurately
• Work from instructions, prints, or verbal direction as required
• Perform detailed, precision‑oriented assembly work
• Adapt quickly to changing projects and priorities
• Assist other departments when cross‑trained and needed
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety practices

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new processes
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, prints, or verbal direction
• Precision‑oriented assembly and attention to detail
• Adaptability to varied projects and priorities
• Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work area
• Background in trades such as carpentry, auto mechanics, or similar hands‑on work is a plus

Pay
