Mechanical Assembler

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, chassis, enclosures, and cabinets based on blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Fit, align, and secure parts to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment for assembly tasks.
• Install hardware, brackets, panels, and mechanical subassemblies.
• Perform inspections to verify fit, alignment, and workmanship.
• Support basic interconnect and cable installation when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, and meet production standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, enclosure assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly.
• Working with precision components and tight tolerances.
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and continuous improvement.
• Experience assembling industrial equipment or electronic enclosures.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Working with small hardware and tools.
