About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer as we continue to grow our engineering team. This position will involve working in the following areas: New Product Development, New Tooling Development, Development of new Manufacturing Capabilities, Technical Support for Production, Safety Support.

Responsibilities

• Construct prototypes for beta testing, customer demonstration, and validation of the design’s manufacturability
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work
• Create tooling and fixtures for production
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering team members to develop innovative solutions
• Work with production departments when technical support is required
• Develop and implement new manufacturing capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field
• 2-5 years of experience working in manufacturing or in a related field
• Firm understanding of engineering concepts
• Experience developing and implementing fixtures/tooling
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems and products
• Experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience in the HVAC industry
