Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical systems and components such as engines, frames, wheels, and suspension parts based on engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensure proper fit, function, and alignment of assembled systems
- Conduct quality inspections, use hand and power tools, and perform adjustments as needed
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues, suggest process improvements, and collaborate with engineers and quality teams to meet production goals
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and inventory, and follow safety protocols using PPE
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or railway industries preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and assembly techniques
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and measuring instruments
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and troubleshoot systems
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality control processes
- Detail-oriented, with good communication, problem-solving skills, and physical stamina for lifting and standing
