Mechanical Assembler
About the role
The Mechanical Assembler position at Technibus is responsible for assembling electrical gear and switchgear components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical gear and switchgear components according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Read and accurately interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and specifications.
- Measure materials and components accurately using a tape measure and other measuring devices.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, including wrenches, drills, impact drivers, and other assembly equipment.
- Install and secure nuts, bolts, brackets, and mechanical hardware to required specifications.
- Perform mechanical assembly while maintaining quality standards and production schedules.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and apply problem-solving skills to resolve mechanical fit or assembly concerns.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in manufacturing or assembly.
- Valid driver's license.
