Mechanical Assembler

About the role

Container Research Corporation, an AS9100 certified company with over 60 years in business, seeks a Mechanical Assembler to produce shipping containers and other products by assembling parts and subassemblies.

Responsibilities

The Mechanical Assembler will work under direct supervision to meet goals and objectives, and will be expected to have proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as a basic understanding of blueprints.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience for Level 1 position
• 3-5 years of experience for Level 2 position
• 5+ years of assembly experience for Level 3 position, ideally in the aerospace or defense industries
• Ability to meet goals and objectives under direct supervision
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of blueprints
• Certifications in forklift driving and/or blueprint reading are a plus

Pay

• Tier 1: $17-$19 per hour
• Tier 2: $19-$21 per hour
• Tier 3: $21-$25 per hour

Full-time, Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
