Mechanical Assembler

ComSonics is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our growing team, assembling and testing mechanical components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist with the development and improvement of assembly processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay

Base salary range: $17.00 – $20.38 per hour. This range represents the compensation ComSonics reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined within this range based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs.

Positions not eligible for commission may be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on role level, individual performance, and company performance. Positions eligible for commission participate in a commission-based compensation plan with earnings based on individual performance and applicable sales plans.
