Mechanical Assembler

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble under-bridge access platform trucks and trailer components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications
• Proficiently read or understand blueprints/assembly drawings, or demonstrate capacity to learn
• Verify the parts required, prior to assembly
• Verify all connections to ensure they match, are joined correctly and to specifications
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• 2+ years experience in mechanical assembly of large mechanical equipment
• Must be fit for duty, with the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift 50+ lbs
• Must be reliable, able to be on time for daily shift, and have dependable transportation
• Follow all safe work practices, and wear proper PPE
• Familiarization with the tools, instrumentation and calibration equipment
• Experience with power and hand tools
• Familiar with electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Basic math and good communication skills
