Our Atlanta facility supports equipment rentals, sales, service, mobile service, upfitting, and parts operations for customers in the utility, telecommunications, construction, forestry, and infrastructure industries. Hiring a Service Technician / Mechanic to support our vocational and utility equipment. Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Overtime available based on business needs What You’ll Work On PMs, diagnostics, repair & inspectionsTruck-mounted utility equipment: boom & bucket trucks, diggers, dump, service, forestry & aerial cranesDiesel engines, chassis, hydraulics, electrical & controls What You Need Experience as a mechanic with aerial, construction, or heavy/light-duty trucksValid driver’s license & own mechanic tools What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience + overtimePaid Vacation, Sick and Holiday PaySTEP Technician training, uniforms, safety boots & glasses, tool discounts Duties And Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards within budget, on a variety of vocational / utility trucks and equipment see https://www.customtruck.com/ Troubleshoot and repair a variety of medium and heavy-duty trucks such as Freightliner, Peterbilt, Ford.Provide repair and maintenance to diesel engines a strong background in hydraulics and electrical is a plus.Perform maintenance/emergency repairs on the fuel, brake, electrical and transmission systems.Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards are achieved.Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services and labor to track costs so vehicles can be properly priced and reflect the value of quality offered by the company.Submit all work/repair orders as required to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained and costs of vehicle repairs accurately reflected.Perform all duties in in accordance with best practices for a safe work environmentAttend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.
