Mechanic Technician I

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanic Technician I to perform preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various mechanical equipment. The role involves function testing to ensure equipment readiness post-maintenance, proficiency in interpreting mechanical schematics, and accurate data entry into Halliburton's system of record.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs a variety of mechanical equipment.
• Performs function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
• Maintains proficiency in understanding and interpreting mechanical schematics/drawings/prints.
• Affirms adherence to and accurate maintenance of, as well as input of, data into Halliburton's system of record.
• Fulfills specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS).
• Performs own work and assists others as directed.
• Ensures duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a mechanical field is required.
• A technical school certificate is preferred.
