About the Role
The Technician will diagnose, repair, and install components using required hand and/or power tools.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose problems by identifying the root cause of technical issues (e.g., electrical, hydraulic, air) using diagnostic tools and problem-solving skills.
- Read, interpret, and follow diagnostic and electrical diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance, including checks, cleaning, safety inspections, and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and to prevent breakdowns.
- Demonstrate knowledge of shop tools, including but not limited to: hand tools, jacks, welders, lifts, and presses.
- Adhere to all safety standards set forth by the company and perform job duties in a safe manner.
- Document work performed and communicate effectively with supervisors to discuss diagnostics, repairs, and related tasks.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (trade school in truck repair a plus).
- Technician shop experience required (heavy-duty diesel/truck experience a plus).
- CDL B certification (if not held, must be willing and able to attain).
Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of product performance expectations from the end user.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering and metal fabrication, hydraulics, pumps, and water valve systems.
- Familiarity with diesel engines, transmissions, air systems, electrical systems, and other major components.
