Responsibilities

  • Make critical decisions related to aircraft safety promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts documentation.
  • Read and comprehend aircraft drawings.
  • Possess a basic set of sheet metal tools.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license.
  • A valid Level I A&P Certificate is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Exercise sound judgment in team settings to ensure aircraft maintenance and safety.
  • Familiarity with base operations and the ability to read and comprehend Company and Manufacturer Manuals.
  • Minimum of two years' sheet metal experience (experience preferred but not required for Accessory shop).

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Willingness to travel for road trips when necessary.
  • Flexibility to rotate shifts according to scheduling needs.
  • Participation in training outside the station, including completion of new hire onboarding.

This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.
