Mechanic / Maintenance – 1st Shift

Location: Eddington, PA

1st shift – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (little to no overtime)

About the role

Full-time, permanent Mechanic / Maintenance Technician position reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. You are hired as a direct employee of the manufacturing company from day one.

Pay

$27 – $35 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Support 1st shift production and operation teams
• Repair equipment at both mechanical and electrical levels
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery and equipment
• Report and log issues and repairs
• Collaborate with the 1st shift production team to monitor machines and proactively address potential issues

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with PLCs, hydraulics, gear motors, and related systems
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, and/or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
