Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Including But Not Limited To) Accountable for local maintenance scheduling and performance to ensure equipment dependabilityPerform all duties of a skilled maintenance technician following recognized procedures for such work, as requiredAbility to read and use maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and other related maintenance documents to complete work assignmentsAbility to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic problems and resolve within an established timeframeMaintain complete and accurate maintenance records and conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections on equipment Required Skills And Experience High school diploma or equivalentMust be at least 18 years old with a valid US Driver’s licenseMust be able to speak, hear, read, and write efficiently. Also, must be able to understand and carry out instructions and direct others in EnglishHave basic to intermediate computer skillsCandidates must have your own basic set of tools (sockets/wrenches) up to 1" in size and up to 1/2" drive.Effective time management and organizational skills to manipulate multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines at onceKnowledge of fluid types, diesel powered machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair and maintenanceMaintain and treat all information as confidentialPossess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representativesProven knowledge and use of standard and specialty tools and specialized testing equipment (i.e. photo tachometer, diagnostics tools and hardware, scanners and meters)Ability to travel to our other IDS Airport to help our company when called uponWelding experience is preferred Work Environment Exposure to noise (may be excessive at times), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment. Physical Demands Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and armsProlonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling;Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
