Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
  • Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
  • Maintain a service van and its inventory.
  • Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
  • Less than 2 years of related experience (entry-level role).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, with knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
  • Technical degree, previous lift truck repair experience, welding experience, or knowledge of testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment.
  • Industry-related training and ability to read/understand service manuals.
