Mechanic - Diesel Pumps and Generators

About the role

SAK Construction has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Sacramento, CA. The Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair of various types of equipment, including diesel pumps and generators.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions as they arise, both in the shop and in the field
• Perform preventative maintenance following operations manuals
• Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance when used
• Maintain and clean and organized shop

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a mechanic working on similar diesel pumps and generators
• Must be 18 years of age or older, with valid Driver's License
• Must have own tools
• Ability to work with hands, lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for long periods of time often doing repetitive motions

Pay

$35 to $45 per hour
