Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and repair of vehicles
- Routine vehicle maintenance tasks (tire rotations, oil changes, brake pad replacements)
- In-depth vehicle inspections of all systems (engine, transmission, brakes)
- Create repair estimates and timelines
- Convey information to customers
- Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork
- Ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree or automotive service technician training program completion (preferred)
- Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
