Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Technician. This Technician role performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime.

About the Role

This role works with an incredible team of people in a safety-focused environment. The technician role requires a high school diploma or GED, some trade school or equivalent training, and 1 to 3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or Oil & Gas equipment).

• Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management
• Work with an incredible team of people in a safety-focused environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Skills

• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs

Benefits

Base Pay Range: $18.99 - 26.11 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
