Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking a full-time Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join our team. As a member of our team, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. You will also assist in training and mentoring team members, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and staying current with the latest automotive technologies.
- Diagnose and repair systems including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, and alignment
- Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire services, etc.)
- Explain repair needs and technical information to customers and teammates
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new vehicle technologies
- Support fellow technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Follow all company, safety, and environmental procedures
To be considered for this position, you should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of automotive repair or mechanical experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Other preferred qualifications include a Section 609 Certification and a State Inspection License (if applicable).
Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching frequently, operating vehicles and automotive tools safely, communicating effectively in person and by phone, and entering and retrieving data from a computer system.
