Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair construction equipment
- Diagnose/repair diesel engine and hydraulic system problems
- Load/unload trucks of construction equipment
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Hydraulic and Mechanic certification
- 4 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally for jobsite work (after training)
- Physical ability to lift moderate weights, work in various positions/environments, and stand for extended periods
- Able to concentrate in a busy and noisy construction environment, able to work in all types of weather
