POSITION SUMMARY

The mechanic will be responsible for inspection, diagnosis, repair, and service of construction equipment and vehicles and other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Inspects, diagnoses, and services company equipment and vehicles.
  • Examines equipment and oversees diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or any combination of education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.
  • Two years of experience in a similar role and trade certification is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of internal combustion engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical one-line diagrams with an ability to read and understand their diagrams.
  • Capable of taking direction and working in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a desire to problem solve.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily a mechanic shop environment.
