Mechanic

About the role

Lumin8 Transportation Technologies is an industry leader in Traffic Signal Construction and Maintenance as well as Intelligent Traffic Systems. This is an apprentice level position with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 80lbs
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• The following equipment may be worked on: Trucks - Ford, Dodge, Freightliner, International Aerial Equipment - Altec, Versa lifts Cranes - USTC, National Trenchers - Ditch Witch, Case Backhoes - CAT Loaders - CAT, Case

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• CDL is preferred
• Own your own tools
• 1 to 5 years experience
• Certificate from vocational school in automotive, diesel, or equipment mechanics is preferred
• A.S.E. certifications preferred
