Key Responsibilities
- Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing; completing preventive maintenance such as oil changes, sharpening blades, replacing belts & hoses, replacing filters, checking tire pressure, clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of equipment, etc.
- Maintains equipment functional condition by listening to operator complaints
- Maintains equipment appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting
- Maintains equipment records by recording service and repairs
- Completes minor repairs as directed with little or no assistance
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License
- Previous mechanic experience required
- Welding/Metal fabrication ability
- Ability to manage small staff of 1-2 direct reports based on season
- Strong vendor relationships
- Any mechanical certifications and service school pertaining directly to our fleet
- Basic computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Experience looking up and ordering parts and materials
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends (to include overtime), and on-call during snow events
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs as required by job duties
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Organizational experience is a must for administrative duties
- High detail expected regarding safety
- Bilingual (desired)
Pay
Commensurate with experience
Schedule
Based on a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday during normal hours of operation. Overtime may be required. Schedule can be affected by season or emergencies as well.
