Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain small gas engines, small equipment, and diesel engines on large construction equipment.
• Ensure all equipment and vehicles are safe to operate and reliable for job site use.
• Cook up with external repair shops for tasks that cannot be self-performed.
• Advise company leadership on the status of equipment and recommend upgrades when necessary.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in a related field or at least 3 years of experience with automotive or heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of small gas engines, diesel engines, and construction equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with repair shops and advise company leadership.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
