Are you a skilled professional in mechanical systems who is motivated by keeping a supply chain in motion? In this role, you will maintain and optimize equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of critical products. You will expertly maintain, repair, and overhaul diesel tractors and specialized systems to meet DOT standards and safety protocols, implement creative solutions for smooth equipment flow, and collaborate with the team to cultivate a "Safety First" environment focused on proactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Expertly maintain, repair, and overhaul diesel tractors and specialized systems to ensure all equipment meets DOT standards and safety protocols.
• Implement creative solutions to ensure smooth equipment flow and translate maintenance reports into impactful service strategies.
• Partner with the team to communicate technical needs clearly while cultivating a "Safety First" environment focused on proactive maintenance.
• Travel as required to repair pumping equipment on work sites and district shops to assist in maintaining equipment.
• Perform N2 purging and inerting tasks.

Requirements

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance/mechanical experience.
• Experience with a variety of basic hand, power tools, and equipment (ideally, you bring your own basic hand tools).
• Knowledgeable in gasoline engine mechanics and preventative maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License (non-CDL).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college, or military technical experience (preferred).
• Familiarity or interest in cryogenics or hydraulics (preferred).
• Class A CDL with HazMat or DOT brake certification (a plus, not required).

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Pay

$24.00 - $27.00/hour
