Mechanic 4 - Foley

About the role

Empower Rental Group is hiring a Mechanic 4 in Foley, AL. We are a family of local equipment rental providers across the Southeastern US that started with 3 locations in 2021 and now have over 36 locations. We are adding a Level 4 Mechanic to our team in the Foley, AL location.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with loading and unloading fleet orders.
• Makes notes on rental tags.
• Assists customers with questions/customer service as applicable.
• Aids other mechanics with tasks such as lifting or moving heavy objects.
• Cleans up the yard and shop area.
• May perform repairs on the small fleet.
• Diagnoses standard issues with heavy equipment powertrain, hydraulic, and electrical systems using a computer analyzer and traditional troubleshooting methods.
• Completes standard repairs to the fleet.
• Completes inspections.
• Completes repairs on company vehicles.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Assists in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency.
• Demonstrates behaviors aligned with the Company’s Core Values at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience.
• A Valid Driver’s License and the Ability to Drive Company Vehicles per Insurance Requirements may be required on a case-by-case basis, depending on branch needs.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills – for both internal and external customers.
• Exhibits average computer skills.
• Maintains a ready line.
• Achieves quality standards.
• Must have own basic tools.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive company vehicles per insurance requirements. Must have own basic tools.
