MECHANIC 3 (MARINE / HEAVY MECHANIC)
About the role

As a Mechanic 3 (Marine/Heavy Equipment Mechanic), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the marine equipment essential for ferry operations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repairs major and non-typical problems on diesel engines, pumps, and other marine equipment to keep ferries in service.
- Directs and oversees the rebuilding and repair of marine equipment in the marine repair shop, including pumps, outdrives, gears, etc.
- Develops parts, tools, and supply lists to facilitate repairs and maintains a supply of spare parts for emergency outages.
- Provides technical support and training to marine operations staff and marine trades helpers.
Requirements
Three years of experience or training as a mechanic are required. The official job specifications can be found here.

Pay
