Mech / Thermal Intern

About the role

Our mechanical/thermal engineering interns will work within the mechanical and thermal engineering organization, with a strong focus on NPI prototyping, manufacturing fixture development, liquid cooling technologies and rack-level system development.

Responsibilities

• Work on NPI prototyping, manufacturing fixture development, liquid cooling technologies and rack-level system development.
• Collaborate with the Platform Team to design the full-stack system supporting Etched Silicon from PCB to Rack.
• Engage in various aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering including board design cycle, high-speed interconnects, power delivery, and system integration.

Requirements

• Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience building real mechanical systems, boards, or other hands-on projects.
• Knowledge of board design cycle, high-speed interconnects, power delivery, and system integration.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in relevant fields.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and thermal engineering.
• Interest in working on cutting-edge technology and contributing to the development of high-power ASIC systems.

Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical and thermal engineering principles.
• Experience with CAD tools and simulation software.
• Understanding of high-speed interconnects and power delivery systems.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
