The Role
Must Have:
- Proficiency in pipefitting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of welding and brazing processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience with pipe fabrication and assembly
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, reaching, and lifting
Nice to Have:
- Experience with advanced pipefitting technologies
- Knowledge of material science and its application in pipefitting
- Experience with pipe insulation and thermal management systems
- Designing, installing, and maintaining piping systems
- Performing welding and brazing operations to join pipes and fittings
- Assisting in the assembly and disassembly of complex piping systems
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborating with other trades and departments to resolve issues and improve processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in pipefitting
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, reaching, and lifting
- Associate's degree in pipefitting or related field
- Professional certifications in pipefitting or related fields
- Experience with advanced pipefitting technologies
- Knowledge of material science and its application in pipefitting
- Experience with pipe insulation and thermal management systems
