MECH TECH J 2 (PAINTER / INSULATOR)
The Role
Coats surface of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using spray gun.
- Selects and mixes coating material;
- Cosates areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller;
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Nice to Have
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience;
- Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 1 year of related experience.
Must Have
- May require certification.
