About the role

The Meat Wrapper provides friendly, courteous and helpful service under direct supervision. This position works with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut, cleans shelves and display cases, and assists customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, fills, and rotates the meat and seafood wrap displays
• Cleans shelves and display cases
• Assists customers as needed

Requirements

• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required

Work Environment

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
