About the role

Under direct supervision, the Meat Wrapper provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, fills, and rotates the meat and seafood wrap displays
• Works with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut
• Cleans shelves and display cases
• Assists customers as needed

Requirements

• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food

Physical demands

Essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
