About the Role

As a Food Clerk at Meijer, you’ll be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. You’ll work across various Fresh departments, including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery, to ensure a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.
