Meat/Seafood Clerk

Responsibilities

• Provide products and services meeting customer requirements through proper phone etiquette and communication with management.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all products are fresh and properly displayed while adhering to health regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare, pack, label, and merchandise items according to Gristedes policy.
• Order products using an ordering machine and scan shelf trays of needed items.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and floor.
• Perform the tasks of the department manager in their absence (for full-time associates only).
