Meat Order Readiness Associate

Responsibilities

• Process meat including packing and labeling
• Conduct QA on raw and finished materials
• Follow safe food handling and food safety practices
• Pick food products and pack in boats, totes, and boxes
• Scan labels, load packaging machines, and apply printed labels
• Spot-check packaged items for correct labeling and accuracy
• Assist with daily departmental shutdown procedures

Requirements

• Ability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
• Ability to start overnight or early morning shifts
• Comfortable working 8–12 hour shifts based on business needs
• Experience in a related field is a plus
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to work in cold temperatures (20–38°F)
• Ability to twist, turn, bend, and stand for long periods
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Understanding of production workflows and operational processes
