Meat Cutter Pt

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Consistently work within to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Makes eye contact and thanks customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
• Cuts and prepares meat using knives, saws, cubers and grinders.
• Ensures proper wrapping, weighing and labeling of meat merchandise.
• Adheres to all corporate meat department procedures and standards.
• (i.e.: case layout and trim specifications)
• Adheres to proper sanitation and temperature guidelines (i.e.: to include corporate and state inspection standards).
• Receives all meat products delivered at store location (i.e.: DSD and warehouse deliveries).
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a cutting test.
• Satisfactory Performance Reviews
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic Literacy Skills
• Basic Computer skills

Education And Experience

• At least 6-12 months of related experience.
