Meat Clerk

About the role

We are a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. As a Meat Clerk, you'll assist guests in selecting high-quality meats and seafood, maintaining display freshness, and supporting the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service at the meat and seafood counter, including fulfilling special orders and answering product questions.
• Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies.
• Honor commitments by being punctual and reliable, and assisting with tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and customers.
• Able to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to food safety standards and proper equipment usage.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 80 pounds occasionally, and working in various environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar retail or food service position preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices and equipment operation.

Skills

Pay

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

This is a part-time or full-time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
