Meat Clerk

About the role

We are a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to serving communities and providing exceptional service and value. We operate +40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. As a Meat Clerk, you'll be central to helping guests bring home high-quality cuts they can feel proud to serve.

Responsibilities

• Deliver helpful service by answering questions, recommending cuts, and ensuring meat cases are full, fresh, and ready for guests.
• Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies.
• Honor commitments through regular, timely attendance and adequate notice for absences.
• Collaborate with the team to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates.
• A willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage, and inventory practices.
• Ability to multitask and stay customer service focused in a busy retail grocery environment.
• Safety mindset to understand and follow safety and food safety practices.
